Sales Tax
 
When will sales tax be charged on my order?
We collect sales tax for orders shipped to an address located within the following states unless the purchaser is of Tax Exempt status.

* Virginia

* California

* Wisconsin

* Tennessee

Taxable orders will automatically have sales tax added to the order total.  For tax to be waived, a Tax Exempt ID number must be provided before you checkout. Any orders shipped to an address located outside the listed states will not be taxed.
 
Paying with Credit Card
 
Do you accept credit cards for payment?
We accept credit card payment for all web orders. Please provide the "bill to" address exactly as it appears on your credit card billing statement. Your credit card will not be charged until we are ready to ship or otherwise provide the goods or services that you ordered. We accept the following payment types:

Your order will not be processed or shipped until your credit card clears authorization.

Order Confirmation
 
How will I know my order was successfully placed?
Upon completion of your order, you will receive an order confirmation immediately via email, which will include an order confirmation number. Please print the order confirmation page, save your order confirmation number, and refer to that number when calling Matt Michel at 703-953-3007 or by using the "Contact Us" link.
 
Order Processing
 
When are orders processed?
Orders are usually processed on the same day that they are placed, if placed before 6 PM EST. Orders received after 6 PM, on weekends, or holidays will be processed on the next business day. Our orders are fulfilled by our manufacturers at various case center locations throughout the country. Which center fulfills your order will depend upon the cases you have ordered and the shipping destination.  The location fulfilling the order will have an effect upon the shipping time based upon the distance involved. Some orders may contain merchandise that will be shipped from more than one location, in which case you will receive multiple packages.
Many, but not all of our cases are in stock at any given time.  Any questions about backorder times for cases not in stock, or order status may be submitted by calling Matt Michel at 703-953-3007 or by using the "Contact Us" link.
 
How to Change Your Order
 
How can I change an order already placed?
We process your orders very quickly. If you find that you have made an error in your order, please notify us immediately by calling Matt Michel at 703-953-3007, or by using the "Contact Us" link.  If your order has not yet been processed for shipment by our suppliers, we will make every effort to correct the order. However, if the product has already been shipped, we will be unable to change any portion of your order until after your receipt of the shipped products.

Returns and Exchanges
 
What is the policy regarding returns or exchanges?
We want to help make every order right and will try to be fair in all situations.  Any Storm, Protector, or Micro cases ordered with empty interiors, with the standard "pull and pluck" foam, or with padded dividers may be returned for any reason within 30 days of the purchase date if the product is in new and unused condition. We will need to charge a 20%-of-cost restocking fee to cover our cost of having the case restocked at the manufacturer.
 
Any product other than Storm, Protector, or Micro cases (such as rackmount or rotomold cases) will be built-upon-order.  Thus, we will not be able to accept any returns of these products.  In addition, if a case has been purchased with a custom foam insert, we will not be able to accept a return or exchange, as that foam insert is built-to-order for you personally. 
 
If you have received damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped merchandise, we will of course accept the merchandise back without any restocking fee.
To make a return or exchange, you must get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by Deployable Systems. This can be obtained by calling Matt Michel at 703-953-3007, or by using the "Contact Us" link. Customers are responsible for all shipping fees associated with getting the order back to Deployable Systems.
